Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH's winning run broke in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore and then lost to CSK in the next game. They would like to make a strong comeback when they meet the Royals on Thursday at home. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma's opening pair has been one of the most lethal duos of the tournament, but they couldn't perform in the previous two games.

Aiden Markram has scored runs here and there in the middle while their recruit Nitish Kumar Reddy is making the batting unit more stable than ever. Shahbaz Ahmed scored a half-century against DC and Abdul Samad will be also there to play the role of a finisher.

Heinrich Klaasen has played some match-winning innings this season and would like to replicate that if RR needs him that way against RR. SRH have been part of many high-scoring games. But, captain Pat Cummins and T Natarajan have been very good with the ball in hand.

Cummins didn't have a great game against CSK but he will try to change that. Jaydev Undakat's three-for in the match against RCB will boost his confidence.

Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals are sitting at the top after winning seven out of eight matches they have played so far this season. They beat MI at the Wankhede Stadium to top the table. Since then, they are holding onto it firmly with everything in their power. The inaugural edition champions are dominating their opponents. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal have scored some valuable runs at the top for their side which have given the middle-order batters more freedom.

Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel added a 121-run partnership in the last game to help their side chase down 199 runs against LSG. Riyan Parag is also in tremendous form and he has won some important matches for RR.

Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma are highly expected to feature as the leading pace bowlers with Avesh Khan bowling the death overs. Avesh Khan has been decent but the management has high hopes for him. Nandre Burger has recovered well from a small leg issue and is available for the selection.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin will attack with their spin as Rajasthan Royals are looking very stable this season. It will be a tough battle as SRH will try to end their 2-match losing streak when they meet RR at home on Thursday.
