2013- Now

India holds an incredible world record for 17 consecutive home Test series wins which started in 2013 under MS Dhoni's captaincy with the last defeat being England in 2012.

Under Virat Kohli's captaincy from 2015 to 2022, the Indian team never lost a home Test series and the record remains intact under Rohit Sharma's leadership who has won every series as captain at home so far.

1994-2000

Australia won 10 home test series in a row with the run started under Mark Waugh's captaincy in 1994.

The Australian cricket team's home unbeaten run continued in Steve Waugh's leadership and came to an end in November 2020 after a home series draw against New Zealand.

2004 - 2008

Australia had another home run of 10 consecutive home series wins which came fully in Ricky Ponting's leadership and started in July 2004.

Australia's home run ended when South Africa stunned the Ponting-led outfit in a home series in November 2008.

West Indies had a run of eight consecutive home series wins which lasted over a decade with it primarily being under Clive Llyod's captaincy.

The latter stages of West Indies' decade long home series winning run came under Viv Richards captaincy before ending after a 1-1 draw against Pakistan in 1987.

1998 - 2001

West Indies had a sensational run of home series win of seven consecutive victories in a three-year period from 1998 to 2001 with Brian Lara captaining the team for large periods.

West Indies' home series winning run came to an end in Carl Hooper's first series in charge when they lost to South Africa at home in 2000/01.

2008 - 2011

South Africa had a streak of winning seven series in a row on home soil under Graeme Smith's leadership.
