Julian Alvarez made history by becoming the first player to win a treble of Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and a World Cup in the same season.
Manchester City beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the UCL final to complete the treble on June 10. With the treble win, they also won the UEFA super cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Alvarez finished the season with as Manchester City's second to scorer with 17 goals, despite starting fewer than half of their games.
Prior to Alvarez, nine players had won Champions League and World Cup in the season, but none and also won the domestic double.
Manchester City leapfrogged Arsenal to win Premier League and beat Manchester Uniter to clinch the FA Cup. They beat Fluminense by 4-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Alvarez, was the 3rd top scorer during his team Argentina's triumph at the 2022 World Cup.
