Babar Azam joins elite World Cup list

Pakistan captain Babar Azam hit his 30th ODI half-century in the World Cup match against Afghanistan.

Babar Azam joined Javed Miandad as only the second Pakistani batter to score 1000 runs in ICC World Cups. Babar Azam scored 1058 runs in 26 matches in ICC events at an average of 44.08.

Javed Miandad is Pakistan's all-time leading run-scorer in the ICC World Cups as he scored 1083 runs in 33 matches at an average of 43.32
