Haaland breaks Salah's Premier League club record

With his against Bayern Munich in first leg of Champions League quarterfinal tie, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland set yet another scoring record.

This was his 45th goal of the season, Haaland has now scored more goals than any other Premier League player in a single season.

The record previously belonged to Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Mohammed Salah, with both previously notching 44 in a single season.

Van Nistelrooy and Salah both reached the 45 goals tally after playing 52 matches for Premier League clubs.

Erling Haaland has broken Salah and Nistelrooy's record and set a new benchmark with just 39 games under his belt.

Manchester City star Erling Haaland could still feature 13 more times for his club this season.
