Kohli scores his first ODI World Cup duck

In a historic clash between India and England during the ODI World Cup, cricket fans were left in shock as they witnessed a never-before-seen occurrence.

India's cricketing sensation and star batsman, Virat Kohli, suffered the ignominy of being dismissed for a duck in an ICC ODI World Cup match for the very first time, creating an unexpected and unwanted record.

England pacer David Willey came in to bowl the seventh over and bowled just short of a good length delivery and Kohli tries to hit it over mid-off but the face of the bat turns and the ball goes for a kitchen sink, safely landing in the hands of Ben Stokes.

This 9-ball duck was Kohli's 16th in ODIs and the uncalled-for event happened in his 275th innings. The 34-year-old batsman's unfortunate duck also equaled with former batsman Sachin Tendulkar for most ducks for India in International cricket (playing in top 7).
