Mitchell Starc returns to IPL with Rs 24.75 crore in bag

Mitchell Starc has made a sensational return to IPL after an eight-year absence. He was acquired by KKR for a record -breaking of Rs. 24.75 crore during IPL auction

Mitchell Starc surpassed Pat Cummins to become the most expensive player in IPL's history. His last appearance in the IPL when he played for RCB in 2014 and 2015 season.

During 2015 IPL season, Starc scalped 20 wickets in just 13 games at an economy rate of 6.76. In 27 matches that Starc has played, he scalped 34 wickets at an economy of 7.17.

Despite being signed by KKR in 2018 for Rs 9.40 crore, he opted out due to an injury, delaying his return to the IPL stage.
