Rohit becomes India's 2nd highest scorer in Cricket World Cup

Indian captain Rohit Sharma was on fire against Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He scored 86 runs off 63 balls, hitting six boundaries and as many sixes.

Rohit Sharma overtook Virat Kohli to became India's 2nd highest scorer in ODI World Cups.

He has now scored 1195 runs in 20 matches in ODI World Cup. Rohit is only behind Sachin, Ponting, Sangakkara, Lara, De Villiers, and Shakib in terms of runs scored in ODI World Cups.

Rohit Sharma also became the first Indian to hit 300 sixes in ODIs. He also registered the highest score by an Indian captain against Pakistan in ODI World Cups.
