Shubman Gill's mixed bag in maiden T20I year

He kept out Ruturaj Gaikwad, who had a productive home series against Australia in which he hit a hundred.

Shubman Gill got out a golden duck in the 2nd T20I at St George's Park on December 12. The young opener managed just 12 in the series decider. He got DRS calls wrong in the both the innings in South Africa.

Shubman Gill managed 312 runs in 13 matches in his maiden year in T20I cricket.

The Gujarat Titans captain hit a hundred - 126 against New Zealand in February and had only one more fifty-plus score.

Shubman Gill faces incredible competition for the opener's role in T20 World Cup 2024 as only 3 more matches are left before IPL 2024.
