Let's look at the other five Indian bowlers to achieve Number 1 in ICC ODI bowling.

Maninder Singh was the first Indian bowler to be ranked no.1 in the ICC ODI bowlers' rankings in 1987

Anil Kumble topped the ODI bowling charts in 1996. In that year, he finished with 61 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja topped the ODI bowlers' rankings in 2013 when he finished with 52 wickets at the end of the year. He also ranked at No. in the current ICC ODI all-rounder rankings.

Jasprit Bumrah topped the ODI bowling rankings on two occasions, once in and once in 2022 before being rules out due to injury. He is currently holding the No. 8 position in the latest ICC ODI rankings.
