In test cricket, Gautam Gambhir achieved the feat of scoring centuries in five consecutive matches in 2009.

Gautam Gambhir fell short of surpassing Australia's Don Bradman. Bradman holds the record with six back-to-back centuries in 1937-38

Gautam Gambhir had an opportunity to break Don Bradman's record in January 2010 during the Mirpur test against Bangladesh. But he was dismissed for 68 runs.
