India wins gold in Horse Riding: India has won the gold medal in the horse riding Equestrian Dressage Event after 40 years. The Indian team of Sudipti Hajela, Divyakriti Singh, Hriday Vipul Chheda, and Anush Agarwalla have created history. India has won its first gold medal in the Equestrian Dressage Event event after 40 years.

Eabad Ali wins bronze in Sailing; second medal on Day 3: Eabad Ali has got bronze medal in RS:X main category of sailing. Now India's total medals have become 13.

Sachin Siwach advances to the round of 16 in Boxing: Boxer Sachin Siwach has advanced in the Asian Games 2023 round of 16 after a spectacular win in the men's 57 kg category.

Neha Thakur brings silver medal in Sailing; first medal on Day 3: On Day 3 the first medal has come for India as Neha Thakur won silver medal in sailing (Dinghy - ILCA4 event). This is the 12th medal for India.

India reaches the final of Swimming 4X100 meter event; smashes national record: In swimming, India has reached the final of the men's 4X100 meter medley relay event. The quartet of Srihari Nataraj, Likith Selvaraj, Sajan Prakash and Tanish George Mathew finished second in their heat (and fourth overall) with a timing of 3:40.84.

Victory in gymnastics and judo: In gymnastics, Pranati Nayak has made it to the finals of her event, while Tulika Mann and Avtar Singh have made it to the quarterfinals of their respective events in judo.

Bhavani loses in Fencing quarterfinal: Bhavani Devi lost 7-15 to reigning Asian silver medalist Yaqi Shao in the quarterfinals. Earlier, Bhavani had won 5 out of 5 matches in the pool stage.

Indian team misses bronze medal in Shooting: Ramita Jindal and Divyansh Panwar missed the bronze medal in the 10m air rifle mixed team event (shooting). The Indian pair initially led 8-0 but eventually lost 18-20 in a thrilling shoot-off.

India's 17-year-old daughter shines in Swimming: In the Asian Games 2023 swimming, 17-year-old Palak Joshi finished 5th in her heat (14th overall) in the 200 meter backstroke event with a timing of 2:25.81. Only the top 8 qualify for the finals. In such a situation, this is a big achievement for Palak.

India crushes Pakistan in squash: India's Tanvi Khanna defeated Pakistan's Noor Ul Ain Ijaz in match number 3. India is ahead of Pakistan 3-0. India's next match in the women's team event in squash will be against Nepal on September 27.
