"Biopic can wait, want to win more medals": Neeraj Chopra wants to stay focused

The Indian film industry has made biopics of legendary sport stars. Thereafter Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra is going to be one of them.

In the few years, the Indian film industry has made unforgettable biopics of legendary sports stars. We have some incredible biopics on Boxer Mary Kom, sprinter Milkha Singh and hockey player Sandeep Singh.MS Dhoni and Mohammad Azharuddin were also a part of this trend. Thereafter Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra is going to be one of them.

Another biopic is coming based on the life of Olympic bronze medallist Karnam Malleswari. This year Neeraj has created a history-making performance. He won a gold medal in Tokyo Olympics.

Neeraj Chopra didn't agree for his biopic now

However, the Indian javelin thrower does not want to see his life story played out on the silver screen just yet.

In an interview of Times now Neeraj expressed that, "I have been approached to do biopics but I think what I have achieved is just the beginning. This was my first Olympics, I want to win more medals and I don't want the movie to flop".

"If I can win more medals, I think the movie will be a hit. Right now, my entire focus is on sports, I have not thought about Bollywood," he added.

Neeraj is now preparing and started training for a rock on performance in the season 2022.

Recently, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand gifted the company's SUV XUV700 to Neeraj . Sumit Antil delivered the vehicles to the javelin thrower.

The 23-year-old javelin thrower will be performing Commonwealth Games. He has also set a target to Asian Games titles and maiden world championships crown in 2022.
