Khelo India Women's Track Cycling tournament will be held on December 20 and 21 at the Cycle Velodrome inside the NSNIS campus.

Khelo India Women's Track Cycling tournament will be held on December 20 and 21 at the Cycle Velodrome inside the NSNIS campus. Track cycling has been included for the first time in this tournament. A total of Rs 1.15 crore has been sanctioned by the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs, and Sports for this tournament to be held in four zones.

Meanwhile, SAI NSNIS Patiala North Zone will host the first leg of the Amritsar leg. After that, the North Zone stages will shift to Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana on December 23-24. And then Guru Nanak Dev University campus, Amritsar on December 28-29.

On the other hand, the first phase of South Zone will be held on December 26-27 this year. SAI LNIPE, Trivandrum will host the first phase. The Cycling Federation of India, with the assistance of the Union Sports Ministry, is organizing the Khelo India Women's Track Cycling tournament. This will be held in sprint, keirin, 500m individual time trial, individual pursuit, and scratch race.

While under the Khelo India Sports for Women component, road cycling events will also be organized this year. This will be held in Bikaner on December 24-25 and Palode, Trivandrum on December 29-30.
