In the recently concluded India Open badminton championship, the Indian duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty faced off against the world champions Kang Min Hyuk and Seo Sang Jae in a highly anticipated final. After a grueling match that lasted for 65 minutes, the Indian pair eventually lost 21-15 11-21 18-21 to their Korean opponents in India Open 2024 final.

Despite putting up a valiant effort, Satwik and Chirag were unable to overcome the formidable challenge posed by Kang and Seo. The match was a thrilling display of badminton skills, with both pairs showing great athleticism and technique.

This was the second successive runners-up finish for Satwik and Chirag, who had also finished as the runners-up in the Malaysia Super 1000 tournament last week. Nonetheless, they can take pride in their performance and look forward to future tournaments with renewed confidence.
