PV Sindhu reaches the quarter-final of the Indian Open 2022 by defeating Ira Sharma in straight games on Thursday. The former world champion beat the youngster 21-10, 21-10 in the round of 16 at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, New Delhi.

Both the players gave a tough competition and played at a good pace in the opening stages of the match of Indian Open 2022. The youngster Ira Sharma was playing well and even took the lead at one point in the game. But the second game was totally in the hands of PV Sindhu. The two-time Olympic medalist took the score to 14-4 before Ira scored some points. Ira could not fight back and therefore it was an easy win for the World No. 7 player.
