Tajinderpal Singh Toor threw 19.95m to beat his own record of 19.94m set in Patiala by a centimeter. He made four attempts better than 19.51m but could only manage a best effort of 19.95m.
The 23-year-old Olympic champion added a centimeter to his previous best of 6.21m, which he achieved last year in Oregon.
