The defending champions Gujarat Titans are now at the top of the table followed by Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The playoff spot of GT is almost confirmed but they came down to the fourth position if they lose in all of their remaining games. CSK are now in the second position and they need just one win to guarantee their place in the playoffs. They have 15 points from 12 matches with 7 wins. With the back-to-back wins in the last two games, they will look to seal their spot with a win over Kolkata Knight Riders.

There's a huge competition for the remaining two spots for the playoff in IPL 2023. Mumbai Indians are now in the third position with 12 points out of 11 matches. With three wins out of the last four games, they are now in third place. MI can be in the 2nd position if they win their remaining three matches depending upon others' results.
LSG have to win all of their three remaining matches to qualify for the playoffs of IPL 2023. They are just one point behind MI with 11 points out of 11 matches. If they lose one match out of the remaining three, their chances can be diminished. Rajasthan Royals have their remaining three games against KKR, RCB and PBKS. They will take a huge step towards qualification if they can win the remaining matches against their rivals who are also comepting for the spot.
Four teams with the same points with the same no of matches are standing adjacently in the points table where the main difference is their net run rate. All the teams are in a similar situation in the points table and they need to win all the remaining matches to qualify for playoffs.
