A fan of MS Dhoni named Ajay Gill chose the extra mile to meet the former Indian skipper. The 18-year-old Ajay Gill took a route of 1,400 km from his village Jalan Kheda in the Hisar district, Haryana to meet Dhoni in Ranchi. In Hisar, he works as a barber.

The only wish Ajay Gill had was to meet his idol just for 10 minutes. To make his dream come true he walked for 16 days since 29 July and reached Ranchi.

He kept waiting under Dhoni’s Simaliya farmhouse on the outskirts of Ranchi. But the worst part is Dhoni is out of Ranchi right now and is with the CSK team prepping for the rescheduled IPL. Ajay’s funky hairstyle caught the attention of many people living nearby. His hair color is yellow, orange, dark blue, and light blue (the CSK colours), and the hair is shaved in a way that ‘Dhoni’ was written on one side and ‘Mahi’ on the other.

Ajay was determined to stay outside Dhoni’s home and wait for his return for 3 months. According to several reports, a young businessman from Ranchi persuaded him and sent him back to his house. The businessman also helped him by booking a flight ticket to Delhi.

Dhoni might have retired a year back but his reign and dominance will continue forever. And his fans can go to any extent just to meet their favorite captain.
