Pakistan and Sri Lanka are all set to host the Asia Cup 2023 from August 30 to September 17. Pakistan will take on Nepal in the first match in Multan. The tournament will be played in fifty-over format and the six teams will be divided into two groups of three teams each. Pakistan, India, and Nepal are in Group A while Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka are in Group B.
Pakistan will host four matches across two venues and Sri Lanka will take care of the remaining games. The arch-rivals, India and Pakistan will face each other on September 2 in Kandy. After the six group-stage matches, there will be the Super 4s, beginning on September 6. The top two spot holders at the end of the Super 4s will face on September 17 in Colombo.
