In men's cricket, India overcame the Nepalese challenge. In Athletics, India will have an opportunity to increase their tally with Tejaswin Shankar leading in the men's decathlon and Vithya Ramraj in women's 400m hurdles.

Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh confirm medals: After Saurav Ghosal in squash, India's mixed doubles pair of Anahat Singh and Abhay Singh have also assured themselves of a medal. Both of them have reached the semi-finals of mixed doubles squash. The pair defeated Tsz Wing Tong and Ming Hong Tang 11-4, 8-11, 11-1 in the quarterfinals.

Saurav Ghosal reaches semifinals; secures his ninth Asian Games medal: India's star squash player Saurav Ghosal has reached the semi-finals of men's singles squash. He defeated Ryūnosuke Tsukue of Japan 3-0. Saurav won the first game 11-4, then won the second game easily. He entered the semi-finals by winning the third game 11-3.

Medal assures in Squash: Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh have reached the semi-finals of the mixed doubles event. With this, the pair have ensured at least a bronze medal.

India's big victory in Kabaddi: India defeated South Korea 56-23 in a one-sided manner. The Indian team is expected to win a gold medal in this competition.

Lovlina Borgohain reaches the finals in Boxing: In boxing, Lovlina Borgohain has reached the finals of the women's 75 kg weight category. She won against Baison Maneekon of Thailand by a margin of 5-0. Lovlina has at least assured herself of a silver medal. She has also got a ticket for the Paris Olympics.

Preeti wins bronze in women's 54kg Boxing event: India's Preeti has won bronze medal in women's 54kg boxing event. She had to face defeat in the semi-finals against China's Yuan Chang. With this, her journey in the Asian Games 2023 ended. She will leave from here with a bronze medal and a quota for the Paris Olympics.

Gold and silver confirm in Archery: Two players from India have reached the finals in men's archery. Abhishek Verma and Ojas Deotale will be pushing for the gold medal in the final. In such a situation, it is certain that India will get one gold and one silver medal. It remains to be seen who among the two wins the gold medal.

Indian Men's Cricket team reaches semi-finals: Indian men's cricket team has reached the semi-finals of Asian Games 2023. India defeated Nepal by 23 runs in the quarter-finals. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a century innings for India. While Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan took three wickets each with the ball.
