Bangladesh won the ODI series convincingly while losing the very first test against India last week. A batting collapse in the first innings made things harder for the hosts as they lost the game by 188 runs. The only positive thing to take from the last game is their debutant Zakir Hasan, who smashed a century in the second innings, scouring 100 off 224 balls.
Skipper Shakib scored a valuable 84 runs before getting clean-bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. In the bowling department, Taijul and Mehedy took four wickets each in the first innings is the other positive to take from the game. The home side is expected to make some changes in the playing xi to make a comeback here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.

India:
Meanwhile, for the visitors it’s again bad news as Rohit and Saini both are ruled out from the second and final test. Although Rohit’s replacement Abhimanyu Easwaran is with the team, no replacement has been announced for Navdeep Saini. In the first game, Gill and Pujara both smashed centuries in the second innings while Pujara also managed to get to 90s in the first innings also. Shreyas e hammered 86 runs in the first innings while Pant scored a quickfire 46.
Coming to the bowlers, Kuldeep has done a brilliant job by picking a fifer in the first innings, and three wickets in the second. Siraj took three wickets in the first innings while Axar single-handedly destroyed the hosts in the second innings, picking four crucial wickets. Can India manage to keep the momentum in Dhaka also? In absence of Rohit, KL Rahul is set to lead the team once again.
