BCCI has recommended Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul and Jaspit bumrah for the Arjuna Award. The board has decided to send nominations for this prestigious players. The BCCI has recommended the openers and the fast bowler of the Indian Cricket team this year.

Shikhar Dhawan is the captain of the Indian team in the coming T20 match against Sri Lanka in the Sri Lanka tour.
KL Rahul has shown his skills in the previous years but he hasn't got any suitable chance yet in 2021. Also, he is the captain of the the Punjab kings in IPL.
Jasprit bumrah is definitely one of the best bowlers of India but his recent performances are not justifying it. He hasn't got a single wicket in the world test Championship final against New Zealand.

Also, for Khel Ratna Award, the BCCI has recommended the captain of the Indian women's cricket team Mithali Raj and Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for the Khel Ratna award, India's highest sporting honour.

One of the BCCI officials told PTI on Wednesday, "No women cricketer has been nominated for Arjuna. Mithali's name has been recommended for Khel Ratna".

Mithali Raj is making a record of having the longest ODI cricket career.

Ravichandran Ashwin is the highest wicket in the World Test Championship.
