Bengal Cricket: Shibpur Institute won the CAB Second Division Championship after defeating YMCA today at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Chasing a total of 256 Shibpur Institute won the finals by 5 wickets. Dipak Prasad and Sharukh drive away Shibpur Institute with their fine knocks in the run chase against YMCA.

For YMCA, Pratik Dutta(90 off 120) and skipper Avishek Das (85* off 105) both scored half-centuries to end up on a total of 255 in 72.5 overs. On the other hand, for Shibpur Amit Banerjee took six wickets while Manomit took two.
In the run-chase of 256 runs, Dipak Prasad(67 off 78) and Sharukh(61* off 34) scored half-centuries to lead Shibpur Institute to victory in the finals of the CAB Second Division Championship 2021-22.
With this win, Shibpur Institute made it two in two in the CAB Second Division Championship. Dipak Prasad and Sharukh was the star of the match. Meanwhile, Sharukh smashed back to back five sixes to end the hopes of the YMCA on Thursday. Notably, it was an 85 overs per side game.
