Bengal legend Laxmi Ratan Shukla's son Agastya signs for Mauri Sporting

Current Bengal coach and former KKR player Laxmi Ratan Shukla's son Agastya Shukla signed for Mauri Sporting for the upcoming domestic season.

Agastya Shukla is a right-handed top-order batsman. Meanwhile, he is a hard-hitter batter who plays for Howrah. Besides batting Agastya also bowls right-arm medium pace.

To date in domestic cricket, Agastya has recorded 451 runs in 22 games while also picking up 14 wickets.

However, from the next season, we will see him to play for Mauri Sporting. On Monday (September 5), Agastya Shukla signed the contract for Mauri Sporting Club.

Agastya's father Laxmi Ratan Shukla is currently coaching the Bengal Cricket team in Indian domestic cricket. He put up the role after former Bengal coach Arun Lal resigns from the post.
