Zee News Conducted a sting operation on Tuesday. From that, it had come to light that the Indian cricket team players had injected banned injections to get 100 percent fit even when they were not fit enough to play, claimed BCCI Chief Selector, Chetan Sharma, who was caught in a sting operation. It is learned that these injections contain drugs but the dope test cannot prove those. The authenticity of which is yet to be verified.
"Indian Cricket Team players take injection & get 100% fit even if they're 80% fit. These are not painkillers. These injections contain a drug which isn't caught in dope test", Sharma told Zee News.
Sharma also said that nearly 80-85% of players are unfit during the selection time. They request the selectors to keep them in contention.
He further said that some star players are given a green signal from the NCA even when they are not fully fit, and then it gets onto the selectors to make a final call on the selection.

Chetan said all these players who take injections to fake fitness have their own doctors outside of cricket. They are available to provide them with shots so that they can be deemed fully fit ahead of crucial tournaments.
