As per reports, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah will miss the upcoming T20 World Cup due to a back stress fracture.

The big breaking news coming from the Indian cricket team is that Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah is out of the T20 World Cup due to a stress fracture. Bumrah already had missed the Asia Cup due to a back injury and missed the first match of the ongoing IND vs SA series as well due to the injury.

News agency ANI has reported that the 28-year-old Indian pacer is going to miss the T20 World Cup and BCCI will now choose one between Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar to fill the place. Not to forget India will also miss the services of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in the T20 World Cup. In that case, missing Bumrah will be shocking cricket news for Indian fans.

Earlier BCCI had named four pacers in the man squad for the T20 World Cup. Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshal Patel and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were among them. Bumrah who made his comeback in to the team in the second and third T20I against Australia was forced to miss the first match of the South Africa series due to the injury.

Although Axar Patel has been good with the ball in hand in place of Ravindra Jadeja in the recent games, it will be interesting to see who will replace Jasprit Bumrah in the main squad.
