Conway started the second day with 136* and was looking confident after getting his name up there on the honour's board. The stylish left-hander had an emotional day out on the pitch as he had given everything just to make his dream ture.
As all the wickets were falling from the other end, Conway kept on scoring. However, it was Wagner who supported him as a tailender and score valuable runs.
Conway then hooked a mean bouncer from Mark Wood for six to get to his maiden double ton in test cricket. He became the only second player to hit double ton on test debut. Also, Devon Conway is now the seventh player to hit double ton on test debut.
