Former India captain Virat Kohli becomes the 20th player to smash centuries in all 3 formats of the game. Meanwhile, he becomes only the fourth male cricketer from India after Rohit, Raina, and KL Rahul to achieve this feat in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 match against Afghanistan.

Former West Indies legend Chris Gayle was the first player to achieve this feat in 2007. After Gayle, it's Brendon McCullum, Mahela Jayawardene, and Suresh Raina, who created the record in 2010. In the very next year, Lankan opener Tilakaratne Dilshan achieved this feat.
Meanwhile, in 2012, Martin Guptill becomes the second player(6th overall) from NZ to achieve this feat. After two years of waiting, Ahmed Shahzad becomes the first Pakistani player to achieve this record in 2014.
Just after a year, Rohit Sharma and Faf Du Plessis achieved this feat in the year 2015. Meanwhile, in 2016 four more players added their names to the list - Shane Watson, Tamim Iqbal, KL Rahul, and Glenn Maxwell.
Then after three years Kevin O'Brian and David Warner added their name to this list. After Covid, two new Pakistani players got their names on the list - Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. In the same year, Jos Buttler becomes the first-ever England cricketer to achieve this feat along with Babar and Rizwan.
And finally, in 2022, it's Dawid Malan and Virat Kohli, who completed the circle. Malan scored a dominating century against the Netherlands in an ODI series while Kohli smashed his maiden T20I ton in the Asia Cup 2022.
