Kolkata Knight Riders needed Pat's half-century the most last night while chasing 162 runs against Mumbai Indians. When everyone except Venkatesh Iyer failed to score enough runs for the team, Pat came in and saved KKR with a 50 including 4 fours and 6 sixes. With his massive important knock, KKR won the first match against MI of IPL 2022, that too with 24 balls left.

KL Rahul

It was the 2018 IPL when KL Rahul smashed a half-century in just 14 balls. The match was against Delhi Capitals hosted in Punjab Cricket Association Stadium. Kings XI Punjab won the match that night and KL Rahul was awarded the player of the match.

Yusuf Pathan

Yusuf Pathan scored a half-century in just 15 balls in one match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2014. Pathan was on another level that day. After hitting the half-century in just 15 balls, he scored 22 runs in just 7 balls before getting out with 72 runs. KKR won the match that night and one of the biggest reasons for the victory was Yusuf Pathan. KKR also won the match that night by 4 wickets.

Sunil Narine

Another player from Kolkata Knight Riders in the list of scoring the fastest IPL fifty is Sunil Narine. While opening the innings for KKR against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he hit 50 runs in 15 balls and joined the former KKR player Yusuf Pathan in this record. KKR won the match by 6 wickets with 29 balls left. Also, he was awarded the Player of the Match for his performance with both the bat and the ball (2/29).
