Babar and Rizwan recorded the highest partnership in a chase in T20I cricket surpassing the previous record of the Kiwi batting duo of Guptill and Williamson.

In the chase, Babar and Rizwan made a record partnership of 203* runs in 117 balls. Meanwhile, in the process, they surpassed the previous best record of 171* runs by New Zealand batters, Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson. Moreover, in terms of scoring runs together, Babar and Rizwan have now added 990 runs in 17 innings with an average of 66, which also includes a 4-century partnership and one partnership of fifty runs.
Talking about the record, in the third position it's England batters, Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan, who recorded the third highest partnership in a chase in T20I cricket. They added 167* runs while chasing in T20I cricket. However, overall Buttler and Malan added 583 runs at an average of 64.77 in 10 innings, which includes two fifty and two-century partnerships.
The fourth and fifth highest partnership in a chase in T20I cricket was registered by Maxwell, David Warner, and Bopara, Alex Hales respectively. Glenn Maxwell and David Warner registered a partnership of 161 runs while chasing in T20I cricket.
