He is hurt. But he has given up yet on his comeback to the Indian team. It was a few days ago when a Virat Kohli lead team India decided to pick the Indian team for the T20 World Cup, without Yuvzendra Chahal. But, just after joining the RCB team for the remainder of IPL 2021, he feels that old Yuzi is back.
In fact, Yuzvendra Chahal was so pumped up that he agreed to bat in the RCB nets only if Glenn Maxwell bowls. After his first training with the team, Chahal has said, "Obviously, the feeling was good, it was okay and I'm happy with the way I bowled today".

Chahal did not have a great time in the first leg of IPL 2021. Yuzi could only pick four wickets in seven matches in India with an economy of 8.26. Moreover, he was also axed from the Indian team for T20 World Cup.
However, RCB chief coach Mike Hesson was confident about his team doing well in the remainder of IPL 2021. Hesson said, "In terms of practice today, we all know what the role is. We've all had those meetings for what we are training for. So when we go in the nets, we're really specific about what we're trying to get out of it."
