"Ready to bat anywhere"

A dry patch with the bat in the U19 challenger trophy had seen him left out from the primary squad of the U19 team. Although he was batting at a different place than his normal top of order position, Porel was happy to play any role asked by the team management.

"I am trying to do my best at what I am asked to do. I am ready to bat anywhere and be flexible for my team", Porel answered when asked about his batting position in the Challenger Trophy.

Being a wicket-keeper himself, Abishek meantime was very much excited to learn from Wriddhiman Saha who was also a part of 27-men probable Ranji Squad for Bengal. "He is one of the best in the world and I am excited to take every bit and piece from him to grow as a player", Porel answered.
