The biggest show of Cricket; ICC Men's World Cup 2023 has started in India. The tournament will be a 45-day long tournament with ten teams and some of the biggest names in cricketing world.
This also is the first time only a single country is hosting the ICC Men's World Cup solely. India had already hosted the world cup in 1987, 1996 and 2011 with other host nations, but this time, they are doing it alone, and in a grand way.
The whole ICC World Cup 2023 will be played at ten different stadiums, in ten cities across India. The semi-finals will be played in Mumbai and Kolkata while the final will be played in Ahmedabad.
Every team will face each other once in the group stage before four team qualifying for the semi-final stage of the tournament. England, the defending champions of the tournament, played the opening game against New Zealand in Ahmedabad.
The tournament started on 5 October and is scheduled to end on 19 November 2023 with the mega final.
