BCCI included left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav for the third ODI of the IND vs BAN series on Saturday. The last ODI of the series between India and Bangladesh will organize in Chattogram on 10 December.

The Indian team is troubled by the injury of many players in the first two ODIs of the three-match series against Bangladesh. Captain Rohit Sharma and Deepak Chahar were injured after the second ODI. And Kuldeep Sen was also injured after the first ODI. In such a situation, a big change has occurred in the Indian team which has already lost the series before the third ODI.

Kuldeep had made a comeback to the Indian limited-overs setup in the New Zealand tour. But surprisingly did not get to play a single match in the T20I and ODI series. Kuldeep was supposed to be join the Indian squad in Bangladesh ahead of the Test series. But now the Uttar Pradesh cricketer will reach earlier and looks set to play the third match of the IND vs BAN series.

Meanwhile, the board asked Deepak Chahar and Kuldeep Sen to report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Apart from this, captain Rohit Sharma had left for Mumbai only after the second ODI and will be out of the last ODI. In such a situation, captain KL Rahul will take over. And Kuldeep Yadav will play in the playing 11 of the last ODI.

At the same time, the BCCI in its press release informed that Indian captain Rohit Sharma suffered an injury to his left thumb in the second over while fielding in the second ODI. The BCCI medical team then examined him. And after that, he was taken to a local hospital in Dhaka where a scan was done. Thereafter though he came out to bat but after that, he has immediately left for Mumbai to take a specialist's opinion. And he will not be able to play in the final ODI. His availability for the upcoming Test series will also be decided later.

On the other hand, fast bowler Kuldeep Sen complained of stiffness in the back after the first ODI. The BCCI medical team examined him and advised him to rest from the second ODI. After this, Kuldeep's stress injury was detected and he had to be ruled out of the series. His fellow fast bowler Deepak Chahar also suffered a left hamstring strain. He injured his hamstring during the second ODI and will also not be able to play the series.
