India will be facing New Zealand in a 3-match T20 series and a 2- match test series. Kane Williamson, the captain of the New Zealand cricket team decided to skip the T20 series of Ind vs Nz 2021. He wants to prepare himself better and focus on the test series.

The T20 series will commence from 17th November in Jaipur and the test series will start from 25th November. Tim Southee will take the responsibility of leading the Kiwis in the white ball series of Ind vs Nz 2021. The New Zealand Cricket mentioned the changes in its release. "With the opening game of the T20 series on Wednesday evening, followed by games on Friday and Sunday night - the decision was made for Williamson to join the Test specialist group already training in Jaipur as they focus on red-ball preparation."

NZC further stated, "Tim Southee will captain the T20 side for the opening game on Wednesday, while Kyle Jamieson, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, and Mitchell Santner are also available for both series."
Jaipur, Ranchi, and Kolkata will host the 3-match T20 series respectively. On the other hand, Kanpur and Mumbai will host the 2-match test series.
