Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has played the most 213 matches as a captain and won 125 matches with a win percentage of 58.96. 3. Rohit Sharma | 55.86%
Rohit Sharma has been the most successful captain of the IPL. He has led Mumbai Indians in 145 matches and has enjoyed victory in 79 matches. Rohit has the third-highest winning percentage (55.86) among captains. Mumbai Indians became champions for the first time in 2013 and after that, they won it 4 more times (2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020). Virender Sehwag | 53.77%
The greatest Indian opener has led Delhi & Punjab in 53 matches. The teams have combined registered 28 victories and 24 losses.
