1. Mahendra Singh Dhoni
The former Indian Captain made his international cricket debut on 2nd December 2004 with an ODI match against Bangladesh. Soon, he got a call to join the test team on 2nd December 2005, followed by joining the T20I team on 1st December 2006.
Captain Cool played in 90 test matches, 350 ODI matches, and 98 T20I matches. He aggregated 4876 runs in his Test career, 1077 runs in his ODI career, and lastly, 1617 runs in his T20I career. Dhoni took to social media to announce his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020. He had a heavenly and marvellous international career of about 16 years.
2. Virat Kohli
The King of Cricket, Virat Kohli proved himself to be an influential cricketer at all steps. Kohli began his journey in international cricket and joined the Indian cricket team in 2008. He started off debuting in the ODI team and played his first match on 18th August 2008 against Sri Lanka.
After 2 years, he debuted for the T20I team on 12th June 2010 and played against Zimbabwe. Later on 20th June 2011, he made his debut in the Test team against West Indies.
Kohli till now has played 113 tests, 292 ODIs and 117 T20Is for India and has broken multiple batting records. He is the player with the most ODI hundreds and the highest run-getter in T20I cricket history.
3. Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja is the third Indian cricketer to be a part of this Indian Cricket News. The all-rounder made his international debut in 2009 and is now a prominent part of the squad. Jadeja made his ODI and T20I debut within 2 days on 8th February and 10th February 2009 respectively. His debut was against Sri Lanka.
On 13th December 2012, he joined the Tes squad to play against England. Till today, he played in 72 Tests, 197 ODIs, and 66 T20I matches.
4. Ravichandran Ashwin
The fourth Indian cricketer on this elite list is Ravichandran Ashwin with 50+ matches in the 3 formats of cricket. He started his journey by making an ODI debut on 5th June 2010 against Sri Lanka, then his T20I debut was on 12th June 2010 against Zimbabwe.
Lastly, his Test debut was against West Indies on 6th November 2011. He is surely one of the biggest backbones of the Indian bowling lineup. Ashwin played in 100 Test matches and picked up 516 wickets with the Best Bowling in Innings (BBI) of 7/59. In ODIs, he played 116 matches and scalped 156 wickets with a BBI of 4/25. Lastly, he took 72 wickets in 65 T20I matches till now with a BBI of 4/80
5. Rohit Sharma
Rohit Sharma is the latest player to play more than 50 games in every format for Indian cricket team. Sharma made his debut first for the ODI team back in 2007 against Ireland and then made his T20I debut against England at the ICC T20 World Cup 2007.
However, Rohit Sharma had to wait for 6 more years to make his test debut for India. The current Indian captain made his test debut against West Indies at Eden Gardens in Sachin Tendulkar's final series. Rohit till now has played 59 tests, 262 ODIs and 151 T20Is for the men in blue.
