Eden Gardens may host a few ODI matches between India and West Indies if it takes place next month according to Indian cricket news. Some changes are being made due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and its variant Omicron. Previously, Eden Gardens was supposed to host an ODI match on 12 February 2022.

According to Indian cricket news, Ahmedabad is going to host the first ODI. And the next 2 ODI matches will take place at the Eden Gardens on 9 and 12 February. The last time Eden Gardens hosted an international match was the third T20I of India vs New Zealand on November 2021.
At the moment India is playing against South Africa in India tour of South Africa. South Africa won the 3-match test series with 2-1. The 3-match ODI series will begin on 19 January 2022.
