Indian cricket fans are completely raging over the Board of Control for Cricket in India since the cold rift between the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and the former captain Virat Kohli. A group of people feels that Virat made the right decision by leaving the leadership. Virat has the best record as the Indian captain in the history of India's cricket journey even then also Kohli stepping down from all formats' captainship shocks fans. Also, according to so many Indian cricket news, Indian fans are indignant with BCCI and their selection for the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies.

BCCI announced the squad for the T20I and ODI series against the West Indies on Twitter last Wednesday. The fans are clearly not quite happy with the team selection. Also, BCCI as usual failed to clarify the reasons behind selecting or dropping cricketers.
ODI squad against the West Indies:
The Indian fans are quite happy with the fact that Indian white-ball captain Rohit Sharma is returning to the squad after completing his rehab at the National Cricket Academy. The Indian team had a horrible 3-match ODI series against South Africa where KL Rahul led the team during the absence of Rohit Sharma. And the fans are now expecting that everything goes well in India's favor and the team starts winning.
In the ODI squad, the selection committee selected Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, and Deepak Hooda. The striking emissions from the team are Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishan Kishan, and Venkatesh Iyer. All-rounder Venkatesh Iyer played only two matches in the ODI series against the Proteas, whereas Ishan Kishan did not get the opportunity to play a single match. Also, Rishi Dhawan, the captain of Himachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, was phenomenal with both his batting and bowling performances. He was the second-highest run-scorer and second-highest wicket-taker in the SMAT 2021. Sadly he could not make it to the ODI squad despite giving such good performances.

The BCCI also revealed that Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami won't be available as they are resting. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja is still recovering from injury. They also mentioned that KL Rahul will be available from the 2nd ODI onwards and Axar Patel will only play the T20Is.
Reaction of the fans:
The selection and omission of the players did not go well with the Indian cricket fanatics. Fans are criticizing and slamming BCCI for 'ruining potential careers'. Fans are claiming BCCI to be 'biggest clowns' for their decisions and also for overlooking the performances in domestic cricket. The Indian Cricket News related to the fans seems to be a bit disappointing at the moment as some deserving players did not get selected. As a result, fans are also not happy with the decision.
