2010:

The second test match of India tour of South Africa 2010-11 was India's first win in the boxing day test match. Durban hosted the clash and the result of the match was in favor of India as India won by 87 runs. VVS Laxman became the man of the match as he scored 36 runs in the first innings followed by 96 runs in the second innings. This was India's first boxing day test match win and that team had legendary cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, and also Zaheer Khan.

2018:

After a gap of 8 years, India registered their second victory in a boxing day match against Australia. Hosted in Melbourne Cricket Ground, India defeated Australia by 137 runs. It was the 3rd test match of the India tour of Australia 2018 where India won the match. Cheteshwar Pujara scored a century in the first innings of the match. Jasprit Bumrah had bowling figures of 6/33 and 3/53. He also became the player of the match for his magnificent performance that day.

2020:

India once again marked their third victory in the boxing day test match in 2020. Men in blue defeated Australia by 8 wickets. Melbourne hosted the second match of the Indian tour of Australia 2020. Ajinkya Rahane captained the team in the absence of Virat Kohli and also scored 112 in the first innings and 27 runs in the second innings. Also, he was awarded the man of the match at the end of the match.

2021:

The most recent and the historical boxing day test win for India is the match against South Africa. Virat Kohli and his men created history and became the first Asian country to win a test match in Centurion. India defeated the Proteas by 113 runs and went a step ahead with 1-0 in the series. KL Rahul was phenomenal in the first innings where he scored 123 runs. With a quality performance by the men in blue, India registered their fourth victory in the boxing day test match.
