1# INDvsAUS (1998)

Australia went into the Third test of the INDvsAUS series with a number of injury concerns in Bengaluru. On a slow pitch India started steadily reaching 290/4 at the close of the first day's play. Sachin Tendulkar scored 177 for the hosts, and Dale and Warne each took 3 wickets as India finished at 424 from 123.2 overs.

At the same time, Australia's innings was similar to India's, in that the progress was brisk (3.58 runs per over) and one player, Mark Waugh, stood out from the rest with 153 not out when the innings closed at 400 exactly. At 92/2 in their second innings India appeared to be in relative control. Australia's third Test win in India came in the second match of their 2001 tour in Wangkhede. Captain Steve Waugh won the toss and elected to field on a pitch offering assistance to the bowling team. The second half of the game would be just as one-sided: Australia declaring on 329/5 before bowling India out for 200 to finally conquer the 'Final Frontier' with a clinical 342-run win.

5# INDvsAUS (2017)

This was Australia's first Test win in India since 2004 and the first win by any visiting team in India since 2012. Australia batted first and scored 260, with Matt Renshaw top-scoring with 68. In response, India scored just 105, with Steve O'Keefe taking 6 wickets. Australia then scored 285 in their second innings, with Smith top-scoring with 109. India scored 107, giving Australia a comfortable victory. This was a remarkable win for Australia, as they had not won a Test in India since 2004.

After losing the toss and India choosed to bat first, the Aussies ripped India out for just 109 runs. Australia recorded an emphatic nine-wicket victory over India, winding up the third Test in little over two days to secure their place in the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Travis Head (49) and Marnus Labuschagne (28) took the visitors past the finish line after they lost Usman Khawaja (0) in the very first over. The hosts were only manage to score 163 in their second innings. They leaving Australia with a target of just 76 runs to record an immensely satisfying win after being hammered inside three days in the first two matches of the Border-Gavaskar trophy.
