Arshdeep Singh created an unwanted record in the 2nd T20I match against Sri Lanka in Pune. The left-arm pacer is now the 2nd bowler from a full member nation of ICC, after Hamish Rutherford, to bowl 5 no-balls in a T20I.
Arshdeep bowled only 2 overs in the match and went for 37 runs in his spell as Sri Lanka put 206 on the board in the first inning of the match. With his final no-ball in the penultimate over of the inning, Arshdeep bowled his 14th no-ball of his T20I career. He went past Hasan Ali of Pakistan to become the bowler with the most no-ball bowled in T20I cricket.
