Rahul Dravid:

India's current head coach Rahul Dravid is aware of the advantages and disadvantages, his team will get during the INDvsWI test series. He is the batsman with the most runs for India in West Indies. Dravid has scored 1511 runs at an average of 65.69 in 8 innings, including 3 centuries and 11 half-centuries.

He scored half-centuries in both his first and last matches against West Indies in 1997 and 2011, respectively. Overall, India's 'Wall' recorded five three-figures (three of them away) and 13 half-centuries against the West Indies.

Sunil Gavaskar:

He scored 65 and 67 not out against them on his international debut at the Port of Spain in 1971. Sunil Gavaskar scored a century each in Georgetown and Bridgetown. He also scored 124 and 220 at the Port of Spain in the same series. The right-handed opener has scored 1404 runs in 24 innings at an average of 70.20, including 7 centuries and 3 half-centuries.

PR Umrigar has scored 1005 runs in West Indies in the test format. He took 20 innings to score those runs at an average of 55.83, including 3 centuries and 7 half-centuries. His highest score of 172* against them came at Port of Spain in the 4th test of the 1961/62 series which India lost by 4-0.

M Amarnath:

Amarnath was one of the finest batters, India ever produced. He has scored 877 runs in 16 innings in West Indies at an average of 54.81. His run tally includes two centuries and six half-centuries and the highest score of 117 came at Port of Spain in the 2nd Test in 1982/83 INDvsWI test series.
