The IPL 2019 purple cap holder bowled 2 consecutive maiden overs against the ongoing match of IPL 2022 against Kolkata Knight Riders at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. He is now the second cricketer to achieve this milestone.

Harshal's start to the campaign was underwhelming to an extent but he took no time to return to his form and achieved this historical feat in the next match itself.
