IPL 2022 Stats: Highest score by a batter in 100th IPL inning

Reaching a milestone of 100 innings is an accomplishment in any cricketer's career. And such accomplishments are always special. It gets better if the player executes performances worth remembering. Faf du Plessis played his 100th inning in IP last night against Lucknow Super Giants. He definitely played a knock worth celebrating. Here are the IPL 2022 stats for the highest score by a batter in the 100th IPL inning.

Faf du Plessis played the captain-like knock yesterday against LSG when his team needed it the most. The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain set an IPL record after smashing 96 runs in his 100th IPL innings. He now scored the most runs in the 100th inning. He felt just 4 runs short of 100 runs in his 100th inning. It is quite certain without this knock, RCB might have failed to win the match.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav is the second cricketer on this list. He had quite a few low scores in the initial matches of IPL 2021, but he rose back in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was his 100th IPL inning and he played like a quickfire. He took only 24 balls to smash a half-century and followed it with a total of 82 runs in 40 deliveries before getting out by Jason Holder. Mumbai Indians obviously won the match by 42 runs.

David Warner

IPL 2016 was a special season for Sunrisers Hyderabad and its fans. They lifted the IPL trophy that season and in fact David Warner played his 100th innings on that day. Warner hit 69 runs in 48 deliveries in the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The final was a nail-biting one and Warner's contribution was very important to winning the title.

Rohit Sharma played his 100th IPL inning in IPL 2014 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. In that match, Sharma smashed 59 runs in 35 balls and took the team to a total score of 187/5. RCB failed to chase the total runs in 20 overs and MI won the match.

Murali Vijay

Murali Vijay played his 100th IPL inning for Kings XI Punjab against Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL 2016. Murali Vijay scored 59 runs off 41 deliveries in that match. The match was a thriller one where RPS won the match by 4 wickets.
