Confirmed: Eden to host IPL 2022 Playoffs, Ahmedabad will host Final

It's confirmed that Eden Gardens will host the three playoffs game while Narendra Modi Stadium to host the mega Final of IPL 2022.

It's totally confirmed that the Final of IPL 2022 will take place in Ahmedabad. If there is no change in the Covid situation, Eden Gardens will host Qualifiers 1 & 2 as well as the Eliminator next month. Meanwhile, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad will host the mega Final. BCCI will make the official announcement in this regard very soon.

It has also been learned that a proposal is also made to give Lucknow's new stadium one of the playoff games. UP Cricket Association has made a formal request to the BCCI & IPL Governing Council to host one of the Qualifiers in Lucknow's Ekana Stadium. However, It is unlikely that the IPL Governing Council will accept the proposal.

The confirmed venues for the four playoffs games are listed below.

Meanwhile, in IPL 2022 on Monday evening, Gujarat Titans (GT) tasted their 1st defeat in the league. GT was beaten by a very clinical Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 Wickets. Hardik Pandya-led Titans have now slipped down to 5th position in IPL 2022 Points Table.
