The International Cricket Council contested ICC U19 World Cup for the first time in 1988 by the name of Youth World Cup. Then again after a huge gap of 10 years, ICC resumed the marquee and since then it is occurring as a biennial competition. Pakistan
Pakistan won their maiden ICC U19 World Cup title in 2004 by defeating West Indies by 25 runs. Dhaka, Bangladesh hosted the final where Pakistan beat West Indies.

Once again Pakistan embarked on the title in the next season, 2006. This time they faced India in the finals in Colombo and defeated India by 38 runs.
India

India won their second ICC U19 World Cup title in the year 2008. Puchong, Malaysia hosted the final clash of India and South Africa. India defeated South Africa by 12 runs and clinched the trophy.
Australia
Once again Australia won the title in 2010. Australia faced Pakistan in the finals and defeated them by 25 runs in Lincoln, New Zealand.
India
The ICC U19 World Cup final 2012 was hosted in Townsville, Australia. The final competitors were India and Australia where India defeated their opponent in their country itself by 6 wickets and won the title.
South Africa
South Africa won their maiden U19 World Cup title in 2014. Dubai, UAE hosted the final clash of South Africa and Pakistan where South Africa defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets.

West Indies
In the year 2016, West Indies clinched their maiden Under 19 World Cup trophy by defeating India. Bangladesh hosted the final where West Indies beat India by 5 wickets.

For the fourth time, India emerged victorious in this prestigious tournament in 2018. India faced Australia in the final hosted in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. India claimed the title by winning by 8 wickets
Bangladesh
Bangladesh won its maiden title in this marquee tournament in the year 2020. They faced India in the finals in Potchefstroom, South Africa, and won by 3 wickets.

Yash Dhull led India were always the favourites to win the title. With Ravi Kumar picking up four wickets and Raj Bawa's all-round skill and five-for helped India beat the English team by 4 wickets in the final. Raj Bawa was chosen as the "Player of the final".
