In the latest cricket news, the rumor is that Sourav Ganguly might step down as the BCCI President. The former India cricketer tweeted that he is starting something new and hopes to get everyone's support for his next chapter of life.

The Current BCCI Head tweeted, "2022 marks the 30th year since the start of my journey with cricket in 1992. Since then, cricket has given me a lot. Most importantly, it has given me the support of all of you. I want to thank every single person who has been a part of the journey, supported me, and helped me reach where I am today. Today, I am planning to start something that I feel will probably help a lot of people. I hope you continue your support as I enter this chapter of my life."
Sourav Ganguly led BCCI just completed one of the most successful IPL seasons and gearing up for the upcoming home season and world cups. He was elected as the BCCI Chief back in 2019 and has done remarkable things since then. Although, he has been always in the news for good and controversial reasons as well.

Though, Ganguly has hinted that he will be resigning as the head of the association. Jay Shah, his deputy has stated that he is not resigning, an ANI report claimed.
