LSG vs SRH: Krunal Pandya's all-round performance led LSG to their second home victory as they beat SRH by 5 wickets

All-round performance from Krunal Pandya guided Lucknow Super Giants to a comfortable five-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023 match in Lucknow on Friday. SRH kept on losing wickets at regular intervals after Panyda took three crucial wickets. For SRH, Rahul Tripathi top scored with 35 off 41 balls while Anmolpreet Singh contributed with 31 off 26 balls and took their side to 121/8 in 20 overs. LSG started off on a fiery note with openers KL Rahul and Kyler Mayers smashing early boundaries. However, LSG lost some wickets in between but Pandya's knock of 34 and Rahul's contribution of 35 took them across the line in just 16 overs. For SRH, Adil Rashid took two wickets while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, and Fazalhaq Farooqi scalped one wicket each. Krunal Pandya & co dismantled the batting lineup of SRH

SRH won the toss & decided to bat first. Anmolpreet Singh & Mayank Agarwal started the inning for Hyderabad. Krunal Pandya picked up the wicket of Mayank Agarwal for 8 runs. Anmolpreet & Rahul Tripathi built a partnership but that didn't last long as Krunal Pandya dismissed Anmolpreet for 31 runs. Skipper Aiden Markram also returned in the very next delivery of Krunal Pandya as LSG took full control of the match.

Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Harry Brook as he failed again to contribute anything to the scoresheet. Rahul Tripathi, after a slow and struggling inning of 34 from 41 deliveries sent back home by Yash Thakur. Abdul Samad faced 10 deliveries & scored 21 runs with 2 big hits to help SRH reach 121 runs after the end of 20 overs.

Kl Rahul & Krunal Pandya led the run-chase

Krunal Pandya scalped 3 wickets in his 4-over spell while Ravi Bishnoi & Yash Thakur both scalped 1 wicket each. Amit Mishra returned with 2 wickets. LSG successfully restricted SRH to a low total of 121.

Kl Rahul & Mayers opened for Lucknow to chase the target of 122 with positive intent. Inform Mayers didn't have a great outing as Farooqi removed him from the crease for 13 runs. Bhuveneshwar Kumar dismissed Deepak Hooda who is still struggling to find runs in the IPL 2023. Krunal Pandya, after performing brilliantly with the ball, also shined with the bat. He smashed 34 runs in just 23 runs & made the chase so easy for Lucknow. Kl Rahul scored 35 runs but wasn't able to reach to his half-century as Adil Rashid dismissed him. Umran Malik sent Pandya home but he did his job quite brilliantly. Pooran ended the run chase with a six as LSG beat SRH by five wickets & four overs to spare.

Lucknow Super Giants registered their second win, also the second home win, and moved to the top of the table after playing 3 matches into the campaign so far.
